All young men, regardless of their socio-economical background, share the same concerns about becoming a successful adult. The Young Men's Ultimate Weekend is a non-religious modern rite of passage that allows young men to safely voice their concerns about becoming a man and acquire the leadership skills necessary for a responsible adulthood. Our graduates leave The YMUW more accountable for their lives and better prepared for the challenges of the adult world.
Thousands of years ago and up until recently, young men were taken out of the village by the men to undergo an initiation into manhood that would guide them to become more respectful and resourceful. Parents no longer have the assistance of their community to raise young men who know what the right things are. By combining ancient indigenous wisdom and modern scientific insight regarding adolescent male biology, YMUW picks up where many current approaches to working with young men fall short.
Young men want to be your heroes and take good care of the world. YMUW gives them the safe place they need to rediscover their natural masculine wisdom and express it freely. It's an experience they won't ever forget!
